I wandered outside on the Monday before Hurricane Sandy smacked New York City. I didn’t dare to go too far from my house, so I just walked over to the esplanade in the 30’s. Brian Donnelly a/k/a KAWS opened a new installation in Atlanta over President’s Day weekend 2012. The Exhibit featured the traveling companion that was at the New York City Standard Hotel for most of the winter. Indoors, KAWS had a large mural on display in the atrium portion of the museum, as well as other canvases and sculptures. Check the coverage on HS, here.
