Monday night was the “Hip Hop Unity Fest” at the Imperial NYC in honor of Mike Beck. Mike Beck was a producer who was killed as an innocent bystander to urban violence. The party was DJed by Kayslay. 50 was also playing that night, to celebrate the release of his new album. I was kind of hoping that he would show up to the party. He never did, while I was there.
