Brian Donnelly a/k/a KAWS opened a new installation in Atlanta over President’s Day weekend 2012. The Exhibit featured the traveling companion that was at the New York City Standard Hotel for most of the winter. Indoors, KAWS had a large mural on display in the atrium portion of the museum, as well as other canvases and sculptures. Check the coverage on HS, here.
Robert Geller was a great show. It was at the piers this year. I really like the shows that are outside of Lincoln Center. So much less of a zoo. Here is the full coverage of RG.
I wasn’t able to cover as many shows as I would have liked to this past New York Fashion Week. But the ones that I did attend didn’t disappoint. These looks are from Band of Outsiders. See the full men’s set over on HS.
There was a story in the NY Times last week about the George Washington Bridge needing to have all of it’s vertical cables replaced. It so happens that I live relatively near that bridge. Since the weather has been so unseasonably mild the last few weeks, I decided to take a little hike and dusk and shoot some images of the bridge from the river level.
I was stoked to be able to link up with Tim B. and Rad Collector for this shoot at the Bowery Hotel, to kick of Rad Collector’s “Girlfriend” series featuring some the forthcoming WeSC gear. MarLen Diaz is the model. Styled by Tim Brodhagen.
